Learning Outcomes and Application | This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to operate odourisation equipment, monitor and control the odourisation of gas, and confirm odourant levels are maintained within acceptable range in accordance with relevant legislation, industry standards, codes of practice and workplace procedures.It includes using appropriate tools, equipment and materials, ensuring relevant permits/authorisations are obtained, safely storing and handling required chemicals, operating gas odourisation equipment, monitoring gas odourisation and adjusting odourant levels, responding to spills and completing relevant documentation.No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication. | ||
